Billed as the first fully amphibious passenger coach, built AmphiCoach Malta GTS-1 goes into production this year after three years of design and development. AmphiCoach has not published the final details of the production version, but the prototype is based on a chassis Irisbus Italy. A redesigned outer shell gives the AmphiCoach to stable, seaworthy hull, and a unique look on the road, Iveco and a common-rail engine provides power. Pricing is set at £ 280,000 in the UK.
